CHIANG Wei-shui, known as Taiwan's Dr. Sun Yat-sen, is one of the most important figures in the colonial resistance movement. He brought the term "Taiwanese" to the people of this island and catalyzed the development of Taiwanese culture. CHIANG Wei-shui led the first political movement in Taiwan. His legendary life made him a culture tutor, and even more, a romantic philosophy lover.

The story is based on Taiwan's modern social revolutions, while the technique of musical plays is used as the form to represent the story from the angle of humanity. Going against the authorities, CHIANG awakened the people's consciousness in self-identity as true Taiwanese. The path and perseverance of how CHIANG Wei-shui pursued his dreams and how he fought against the conservatives are relived through this tribute. A drama-musical of its best, this performance will lead the audience back to times encountering the family ties, affections, and patriotism of CHIANG Wei-shui. The forty-one years of CHIANG's life was a magnificent chapter in Taiwan's modern history, and remains an inspiration to the Taiwanese people for many generations to come.
